Frequently asked questions
How do I create my first marker?
Open the map, pan to the property you want to track, and tap the crosshair button to drop a pin at the center of the visible map area. Tap the pin to open its drawer and add a note, file, or conversation.
How do I invite my team?
Tap your profile (top-right) → Team → Invite. Share the link with a teammate; when they open it and sign in, they join your team and gain access to all of your team's markers and conversations.
How do I share a property with someone who doesn't have EarthNotes?
Open a property's drawer, tap the share button, and copy the link. Anyone with the link can view the marker, see the existing conversation, and reply as a guest — they don't need an account to participate.
Why isn't my location showing on the map?
Make sure EarthNotes has Location permission in Settings → EarthNotes → Location → While Using the App. If permission is granted and the map still doesn't follow you, try toggling Wi-Fi off and on (iOS occasionally needs to refresh its location services).
I'm not receiving email login codes.
Check your spam folder for messages from letsgo@earthnotes.ai or noreply@earthnotes.ai. If you still don't see them after a minute, reply to this support address with the email you tried — we'll look up the delivery status.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your EarthNotes account at any time. Visit earthnotes.ai/delete-account and follow the steps. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, markers, conversations, and uploaded files from our servers.
